  About Us
In 1993 Wheel to Wheel Racing was formed to head Pontiac’s re-entry into endurance racing with the legendary F-body. With an interest to expand in 1995 Jeff Beitzel, Richard Anderson, Doug Goad, and Dan Vanauken (now retired) officially formed Wheel to Wheel Powertrain as a wholly owned subsidiary of Wheel to Wheel.

Primary reasons for business were limited to supplying race teams and General Motors specialty vehicles with engines until we opened our doors to the public in 1999. In 2004 we moved into a 47,000 square foot new facility located in Madison Heights.

The new facility has been said to be one of the nicest in Michigan and maybe even the country. With a full service fabrication shop, 3 engine dynamometer cells, chassis dynamometer with AWD capability, in house machine shop, engine room, and experienced knowledgeable staff.

Today Wheel to Wheel Powertrain stands as a full service facility with the ability to tackle almost any task in the world of motorsports from developing trophy winning race engines, technical services, to building complete vehicles. Every project is attacked with an attention to detail as well as proven methods that provide positive results. Including producing the first LS based power adder drag racing engine to break into the 6 second barrier as well as the first N/A engine breaking into the 8's.

With a slue of prominent customers including popular race teams throughout the country, General Motors, Tim Allen, Jay Leno, and the many others who have trusted us with their automotive dream you can rest easy knowing you are in good hands.
